Chikan Wharf Introduction
Chikan Harbor is located in the northeastern part of Baisha Township, Penghu County. In recent years, due to the popularity of water activities in the North Sea, Chikan Harbor has become the most popular harbor in Penghu. The county government has invested heavily in building a North Sea Tourist Service Center here, where most speedboats traveling to various islands in the North Sea dock. Inside the service center, there are cute murals, and the second floor features a restaurant for travelers to dine. It serves as the main entry and exit point for speedboat trips to Jibei Island, Xianjiao Island, Mudu Island, and other North Sea vacation destinations. Chikan is also the autonomous area of Baisha Township, and the nearby islands offer activities such as snorkeling, coral reef sightseeing, fish feeding, jet skiing, banana boating, duck boat rides, and other water activities. Additionally, Chikan Harbor is the most important fishing port for anchovies in Baisha Township, with most anchovies in Penghu caught by the villagers of this community.
