Matsu Beach is composed of coral and shells formed by wind accumulation, stretching over a kilometer. It is one of the must-visit spots to experience the coastal scenery of Penghu. The sand appears beautifully golden during sunset or dawn, which is quite enchanting. Compared to other beaches in Penghu, Matsu Beach has a gentler slope and smaller waves, making it a popular spot for many visitors to surf and bring their children to enjoy. Currently, Matsu Beach has a Shell Bay Recreation Center available for visitors to rest and use facilities. 【Recommended stay duration】 1 hour.
