Shanshui 30 High Ground Park Introduction
Shanshui 30 Heights is located to the right of Shanshui Beach, adjacent to the basalt cliff highland of the Wetland Park. This area is not only a park but also offers a panoramic view of the beautiful Golden Shell Beach. Historically a military site, it was actively renovated by the Penghu County Government, which has gradually added pedestrian pathways, shading facilities, rest benches, interpretive facilities, restrooms, and a small parking lot. After the renovation of the existing cabins, visitors can walk along the wooden plank road to the summit and overlook the magnificent seascape of the Shanshui coastline. At Shanshui 30 Heights Park, there is a steel structure lighting installation named "Shanshui Yinghui," featuring an artistic representation of the "Shanshui" imagery and a short poem inscribed by County Magistrate Lai Fengwei. During the daytime, it provides a 360-degree view, allowing the public to wander freely beneath the structure and observe the mountain-shaped imagery from Shanshui Beach. At night, with the addition of landscape lighting, Shanshui 30 Heights Park is illuminated, and the light colors change rhythmically with the music, creating an interactive feeling of "mountain" and "water." This expresses the local geographical imagery and conveys the spirit of Penghu, establishing a new nighttime landmark in Penghu, where visitors can experience a different atmosphere compared to that of the day.
