Shanshui 30 Highland Park Introduction
The Sanshui 30 Heights is located on the right side of Sanshui Beach, near the basalt cliff highlands of the Wetland Park. This area is not only a park but also offers a panoramic view of the beautiful Golden Shell Beach. Previously a military area, it has been actively renovated by the Penghu County Government, which has gradually added facilities such as pedestrian pathways, shade structures, resting benches, interpretation facilities, public restrooms, and small parking lots. After renovating the existing barracks, visitors can walk along the wooden plank road to the summit and overlook the magnificent sea view of the Sanshui coastline. At Sanshui 30 Heights Park, a steel structure lighting installation named "Reflection of Mountains and Water" incorporates images symbolizing "mountains and water" as an art installation. It features a short poem inscribed by County Mayor Lai Feng-wei, which can be appreciated from a 360-degree perspective during the day. Visitors can freely wander beneath the structure and view the mountain-shaped imagery from Sanshui Beach. At night, the scenic lights illuminate the 30 Heights Park, with colors changing in sync with the rhythm of the music, creating an interactive feeling between "mountain" and "water." This expresses the geographical imagery of mountains and water and conveys the spirit of Penghu, establishing a new nighttime landmark in Penghu, allowing people to experience a different atmosphere from daytime.
