Shanshui 30 Heights Park Introduction
Shanshui 30 Highland is located to the right of Shanshui Beach, near the basalt cliff highland of Wetlands Park. This location is not just a park, but also offers a panoramic view of the beautiful Golden Shell Beach. Previously a military stronghold, it was taken over by the Penghu County Government, which actively renovated the area and gradually added facilities such as pedestrian paths, shading structures, resting benches, informational displays, restrooms, and a small parking lot. After the renovation of existing barracks, visitors can stroll along wooden walkways to the summit and overlook the magnificent ocean scenery along the Shanshui coastline. The Shanshui 30 Highland Park features a steel structure light installation, named "Shanshui Reflected Glory," which is an art piece depicting the "Shanshui" imagery. It also includes a short poem inscribed by County Magistrate Lai Fengwei, offering a 360-degree view during the day, allowing the public to freely wander below the structure and appreciate the mountain silhouette from Shanshui Beach. At night, the landscape lights illuminate Shanshui 30 Highland Park, with the colors of the lights changing in sync with the rhythm of the music, creating an interactive sensation of "mountain" and "water," expressing the local geographical image and conveying the spirit of Penghu, thus creating a new nighttime landmark in Penghu, where people can experience a different atmosphere compared to during the day. 【Suggested Stay Duration】 1.5 hours
