Shanshui 30 High Land Park Introduction
The San Shui 30 Plateau is located on the right side of San Shui Beach, adjacent to the basalt cliff highland of the Wetland Park. This area is not only a park but also offers breathtaking views of the entire Golden Shell Beach. Previously a military stronghold, it has been actively renovated by the Penghu County Government, which has gradually added pedestrian paths, shading facilities, resting benches, information boards, public restrooms, and a small parking lot, alongside the refurbishment of existing barracks. Visitors can walk along the wooden paths to reach the summit and enjoy a magnificent view of the San Shui coastline. At San Shui 30 Plateau Park, a steel structure lighting installation has been set up, featuring an installation art piece named "Mountain Water Reflection" that embodies the image of "San Shui." It includes a short poem inscribed by County Magistrate Lai Feng-wei. During the day, it provides a 360-degree viewing experience, allowing people to freely wander beneath the structure and observe the mountain silhouette from San Shui Beach. At night, with the addition of landscape lighting, the San Shui 30 Plateau Park is illuminated, with colors changing in sync with the rhythm of the music, creating an interactive sensation of "mountain" and "water." This expresses the local imagery of mountains and waters and conveys the spirit of Penghu, establishing a new nighttime landmark in Penghu, where visitors can experience a distinct atmosphere from the daytime. **Suggested stay duration:** 1.5 hours.
