Shanshui 30 Highland Park Introduction
Shanshui 30 Heights is located on the right side of Shanshui Beach, next to the basalt cliff highland of Wetland Park. This area is not only a park but also offers a panoramic view of the beautiful Golden Shell Beach. In the past, it was a military stronghold, and after being taken over by the Penghu County Government, it has been actively renovated. High ground park walking paths, sunshade facilities, resting seats, interpretative facilities, restrooms, and a small parking lot have been gradually established. After repairing the existing barracks, visitors can walk along the wooden boardwalk to the summit for a breathtaking view of the entire Shanshui coastline. At Shanshui 30 Heights Park, a steel structure lighting installation named "Shanshui Reflection" has been created with installation art depicting "Shanshui." It features a short poem inscribed by County Magistrate Lai Feng-wei. During the day, a 360-degree perspective can be enjoyed, and the public can freely roam beneath the structure, appreciating the mountainous imagery from Shanshui Beach. At night, the park is illuminated with scenic lights, and the colors change with the rhythm of the music, creating an interactive feeling between "mountain" and "water," expressing the local image of Shanshui and conveying the spirit of Penghu, making it a new nighttime landmark in Penghu where people can experience a different atmosphere compared to daytime. 【Recommended stay time】 1.5 hours
