Shanshui 30 Highland Park Introduction
Shan Shui 30 Heights is located to the right of Shan Shui Beach, adjacent to the basalt cliff highland of Wetland Park. This area is not only a park but also offers stunning views of the entire Golden Shell Beach. Previously a strategic military site, it has been actively renovated by the Penghu County Government, which has gradually added facilities such as pedestrian walkways, shading structures, resting benches, interpretation facilities, restrooms, and a small parking lot. After renovation of the existing barracks, visitors can walk along the wooden paths to the summit and overlook the magnificent ocean view along the Shan Shui coastline. At Shan Shui 30 Heights Park, a steel structure with lighting art installation named "Mountain and Water Reflection" is set up, featuring art installations in the form of "Mountain and Water" images. A short poem inscribed by County Magistrate Lai Feng-wei is also displayed, providing a 360-degree view during the day, allowing visitors to move freely beneath the structure and observe mountain-like images from Shan Shui Beach. At night, along with the landscape lighting installation, Shan Shui 30 Heights Park is illuminated, with the light colors changing with the rhythm of the music, creating an interactive feeling of "mountain" and "water," expressing the local terrain and conveying the spirit of Penghu. It aims to establish a new night landmark in Penghu, allowing the public to experience a different atmosphere compared to daytime. [Recommended stay time] 1.5 hours
