Shanshui Fishing Port Introduction
On the east side of SanShui Beach is SanShui Fishing Port, next to the SanShui Stargazing Park, which was renovated in 2008 and features pavilions, stargazing signposts, and walking trails. SanShui Fishing Port is located on the southern coast of Penghu and is classified as a Type III fishing port, primarily serving local fishermen for docking, unloading fish, and leisure activities. The port faces the vast waters of the southern Penghu, where fishing is a way of life, mainly using methods such as gillnetting, trawling, and longline fishing. To the west of SanShui Fishing Port lies a kilometer-long stretch of golden shell sand at SanShui Beach, contrasting with the blue sea surface, featuring fine, soft white sand and a gentle terrain, making it suitable for swimming and surfing, and can be connected with nearby natural attractions for a tourism and leisure route. 【Suggested stay time】0.5 hours.
