Shanshui Fishing Port Introduction
On the east side of Shanshui Beach, there is Shanshui Fishing Harbor, next to which is Shanshui Star-Gazing Park, completed in 2008, featuring gazebos, star-gazing signposts, and hiking trails. Shanshui Fishing Harbor is located on the southern coast of Penghu and is classified as a Type III fishing port, primarily providing facilities for residents to dock their fishing boats, unload fish, and rest. The harbor faces the vast Pengnan waters and relies on fishing for livelihood, utilizing methods such as drift netting, trawling, and longline fishing.
