It is said that after the pioneers moved to Jing'an in the third year of the Chongzhen period (1630), they built a small temple for the Zhenwu Emperor statue brought from the mainland, which was called "Shangdi Temple." After the mid-Qing dynasty, it was conferred the title "Beijidian" by the Jade Emperor.

Main Deity: Emperor Zhenwu Festival Date: March 3rd of the Lunar Calendar It is said that after the ancestors settled in Jing'an in the 3rd year of the Chongzhen reign of the Ming Dynasty (1630), they brought the statue of Emperor Zhenwu from the mainland and built a small temple here, called "Shangdi Temple." After the mid-Qing Dynasty, it was granted the title "North Pole Palace" by the Jade Emperor.
