Haishan Fishing Port, located in Xiangshan District, is one of the two fishing ports in Hsinchu City. Due to tidal influences, its development space is limited, so the government added recreational facilities and completed a viewing platform in 2004. The platform, about one story high, offers an unobstructed view of the Xiangshan Wetlands, allowing visitors to enjoy the ocean scents and sea breezes, making it a great spot for holiday sea viewing.
