Hai Shan Fishing Port, located in the Xiangshan District, is one of the two fishing ports in Hsinchu City. Due to tidal influences, its development space is limited; thus, the government added recreational facilities and completed a viewing platform in 2004. The approximately one-story-high platform offers a clear view of the Xiangshan Wetlands, allowing visitors to enjoy the sea breeze and marine flavors, making it a great spot for a seaside getaway.
