Shulin Ice-Chilled Braised Delicacies Introduction
Located about 100 to 200 meters in front of the left side of Shulin Hoh train station, Shulin Chilled Braised Delicacies has gained fame in Shulin District and earned the recognition of many food connoisseurs. Many people from Taipei specifically drive or take the train to buy from there. This chilled braised delicacies stand is quite unremarkable and is set up in front of a bedding store; in fact, both businesses are run by the same owner. Originally, over twenty years ago, the owner sold bedding in Taipei City, but later moved to Shulin and picked up the old trade again, only to add a family recipe for braised delicacies at night. Over the years, a loyal customer base has developed, and with word of mouth, the food stall that operates only in the evenings has drawn a continuous stream of customers.
