Shulin Nai Bing Zhan Lu Wei Introduction
Located about one or two hundred meters in front of the left side of the Shulin Hohai Train Station, Shulin Cold Braised Dishes has gained fame in the Shulin District and earned the recognition of food connoisseurs. Many people from Taipei specially drive or take the train to buy from here. This cold braised dish stand is quite unassuming and is situated in front of a bedding shop; in fact, both businesses share the same owner. Originally selling bedding in Taipei City over twenty years ago, the owner later relocated to Shulin and revived the original business, adding a family-recipe braised dish in the evenings. Unexpectedly, over the course of one to two decades, a loyal customer base has formed, and with word-of-mouth spreading, the food stalls set up in the evenings attract continuous crowds.
