Shulin Chilled Braised Dishes Introduction
Located about 100 to 200 meters to the left front of Shulin's Hou Train Station, Shulin Ice Chilled Braised Dishes has gained fame in the Shulin District and received recognition from food experts. Many people from Taipei specifically drive or take the train to buy from here. This ice chilled braised dishes stall is unassuming and is actually located in front of a bedding store; both establishments are owned by the same person. Originally selling bedding in Taipei City over twenty years ago, the owner later moved to Shulin and returned to the original business but added a family recipe for braised dishes in the evenings. Surprisingly, over the years, a loyal customer base has formed, and word-of-mouth has led to a constant stream of customers since the stall opens in the evening.
