Shulin Ice-Chilled Braised Snack Introduction
Located about 100 to 200 meters in front of the left side of Shulin Hou Station, Shulin Ice Cold Braised Dishes has gained fame in the Shulin District and received recognition from food connoisseurs. Many people from Taipei specially drive or take the train to buy from here. This ice cold braised dish stall is rather unassuming and is actually located in front of a bedding store, which is also owned by the same person. Originally selling bedding in Taipei City over twenty years ago, the owner later moved to Shulin and returned to this old trade, but added a family recipe for braised dishes in the evenings. Over the past one or two decades, they have gained a loyal customer base, and word-of-mouth has spread, leading to constant crowds since the stall opens in the evening.
