Xindian River Bicycle Path Introduction
The banks of the Xindian River are equipped with a complete circular bicycle path, starting from Bitan. The left bank follows the suspension bridge along Bitan Road and Xizhou Road to reach the Sunshine Sports Park; the right bank extends north from Bitan, passing by the MRT Xiaobitan Station, traversing through the Xindian District. The bike paths on both sides are connected by the Sunshine Bridge, forming a circular recreation system. Riding along the path, accompanied by a cool breeze and scenic views of lush greenery, is an excellent way to explore the banks of the Xindian River. It is recommended to rent a bike at the Bitan rental station near MRT Xindian Station after having lunch on Guangming Street and head towards Sunshine Sports Park. This route is flat and easy to ride, making it ideal for family outings on weekends. Suggested biking route for the riverside bike path: Bitan rental station - via Bitan Bridge - along the left bank of the Xindian River downstream - Sunshine Sports Park (Sunshine rental station) - via Sunshine Bridge - along the right bank of the Xindian River upstream - Xiaobitan Park - Family Riverside Park - back to Bitan rental station.
