Wufeng Farmers' Association Winery Introduction
Zain, the Taiwan sake legend, Wufeng Farmers' Association Winery, is the first charming sake cellar in Taiwan filled with Japanese aesthetic charm. It inherits the brewing spirit of Japanese toji, "dedication of heart and soul," selecting high-quality Yi Chuan fragrant rice specially cultivated in the Wufeng area, and draws on the pure and sweet Pu Li mountain spring water. We sincerely welcome you to a captivating "sake cellar experience," to appreciate the most enchanting sake culture and charm of Wufeng Farmers' Association Winery. The sake is crafted primarily from rice, embodying an incredible rice aroma! The quality of the rice used in brewing sake is a key determinant of the sake's quality. Since 2002, the Wufeng Farmers' Association has begun assisting farmers in cultivating "Taiwan No. 71" fragrant rice successfully, which has won numerous honors including national champion rice and one of the top ten classic good rice. The former president named this dream rice "Yi Chuan fragrant rice" in appreciation of Dr. Kuo Yi Chuan's contributions. In order to enhance the added value of Yi Chuan fragrant rice and establish Wufeng as the hometown of fragrant rice, a creative industry around fragrant rice culture was developed, and tests for brewing sake with fragrant rice were conducted in Japan, successfully creating Taiwan's most dreamlike and high-quality sake; a natural gift nurtured by the beautiful countryside of Wufeng. Wufeng Farmers' Association Winery has always insisted on using good rice to brew good sake, specially presented to you.
