Wufeng Farmers' Association Winery Introduction
Zai Niang, the legendary sake brewery of the Wufeng Farmers' Association in Taiwan, is the first charming sake house in Taiwan that is filled with Japanese aesthetic style. It inherits the brewing spirit of Japanese toji, "dedication of heart and soul," and carefully selects the specially cultivated Yichuan fragrant rice from the Wufeng area, drawing on the pure and sweet Puli mountain spring water. We sincerely welcome you to experience the enchanting "sake brewery learning" and appreciate the most captivating brewing culture and charm of the Wufeng Farmers' Association sake brewery. The sake, primarily made from rice, contains an incredible rice aroma! The quality of the sake is significantly determined by the type of rice used. Since 2002, the Wufeng Farmers' Association has been assisting farmers in successfully cultivating the "Taiwan Agricultural No. 71" fragrant rice, which has won accolades such as the national grand champion rice and top ten classic good rice. At that time, in appreciation of Dr. Guo Yichuan's contributions from the Agricultural Research Institute, the president named this dreamy rice "Yichuan fragrant rice." To enhance the added value of Yichuan fragrant rice and create Wufeng as the hometown of fragrant rice, the association has initiated the innovative cultural industry of fragrant rice, even conducting sake brewing experiments with fragrant rice in Japan, successfully crafting the most dreamy and high-quality sake in Taiwan; a natural gift nurtured by the beautiful land of Wufeng. The Wufeng Farmers' Association brewery consistently maintains the intention of brewing good wine with good rice, especially presented to you.
