Wufeng Farmers' Association Winery Introduction
Zai Niang, a legendary sake brewery located in Wu Feng, Taiwan, is the first charming sake cellar imbued with Japanese aesthetic. It inherits the brewing spirit of "passion and dedication" from Japanese toji (master brewers) and carefully selects the specially grown Yi Quan fragrant rice from the Wu Feng area, sourcing the pure and sweet Pu Li spring water. We wholeheartedly welcome you to experience our enchanting "sake brewery tour," where you can appreciate the most captivating brewing culture and charm of Wu Feng Farmers' Association Brewery. Sake is a beautiful beverage made primarily from rice, containing an incredible rice aroma! The quality of sake is largely determined by the rice used in its brewing. Since 2002, the Wu Feng Farmers' Association has been aiding farmers in the successful cultivation of "Tai-Nong No. 71" fragrant rice, which has received numerous accolades such as the National Grand Champion Rice and one of the Top Ten Classic Rice awards. At that time, the President named this dream rice "Yi Quan fragrant rice" in appreciation of Dr. Guo Yi Quan's contributions to the Agricultural Research Institute. To enhance the added value of Yi Quan fragrant rice and establish Wu Feng as the hometown of fragrant rice, the association has initiated a creative industry around fragrant rice culture. They even traveled to Japan to conduct sake brewing experiments using fragrant rice, successfully creating the most dreamy and premium sake in Taiwan, blessed by the natural gifts of beautiful Wu Feng. Wu Feng Farmers' Association Brewery is committed to the belief that good rice makes good sake, specially presented to you.
