The characteristic of Trail No. 8 is its steady incline. The first half of the trail is an industrial road, while the middle section is a wattle boardwalk. Besides being slightly steep near the Wind Moving Rock, the rest resembles flatland hiking. Most visitors hike from Trail No. 6 to Wind Moving Rock, and then follow this trail down to the trailhead. The return from Wind Moving Rock to the trailhead takes only about 40 minutes, and it takes about 20 minutes to walk back from the trailhead to the parking lot of Trail No. 6.
