ASEAN Square (formerly known as First Square) is located near Taichung Railway Station on West Green River Street. With a height of 13 floors, it is a comprehensive leisure and entertainment plaza surrounded by Section 1 of Taiwan Boulevard, Jiguang Street, Chenggong Road, and West Green River Street. Situated in the commercial district in front of Taichung Station, it features a basement parking lot, boutique clothing stores, a food street, a cinema (First Movie City), KTV, an amusement arcade, a billiard club, a bowling alley, an ice skating rink, and a folk song western restaurant, making it a popular leisure spot for young people and migrant workers. It is nearby Taichung Station, Taichung Park, and Taichung State Building, and is known for the concentration of Southeast Asian shops, earning it the nickname "Little Southeast Asia in Taichung."
