Turtle Shell Ecological Park Introduction
Covering an area of six hectares, Guishan Park has transformed a previously eutrophic and silted water pool by channeling in fresh water, creating a vibrant ecological pond. The park emphasizes ecological conservation, which is reflected in its nighttime lighting that minimizes light pollution, preserving the ecological habitat while ensuring safety for park visitors. Scenic pathways within the park allow the public to closely observe the rich coastal ecosystem. The park’s facilities include installation art, restroom buildings decorated with wooden fences for beautification, abundant ecological development, as well as the placement of benches and gazebos. Additionally, there is a sizable outdoor performance space, making it a major highlight in Taichung.
