Turtle Shell Ecological Park Introduction
Gui Ke Park, covering an area of 6 hectares, has transformed a previously eutrophicated and silted water pond into a vibrant ecological pool by redirecting fresh water. The park emphasizes ecological conservation, which is reflected in its nighttime lighting designed to minimize light pollution, protecting ecological habitats while ensuring safety. Scenic pathways within the park provide visitors with a closer look at the rich coastal ecosystem. The park's infrastructure includes installations of art, restrooms separated and beautified with wooden fences, and various ecological developments. There are also seating areas and pavilions, as well as a sizable outdoor performance venue, making it a major highlight in Taichung.
