A-Zai Rice Cake Store was founded by the ancestor Dai Jiu Gong in a traditional cloth shop next to Dajia Jenn Lann Temple during the Japanese colonial period. In the 27th year of the Republic, the second generation, Yan Zai, took over the business and later moved to the current location on Jiangong Road. With a focus on quality ingredients and time-consuming handmade processes, they create memorable traditional flavors from the past.
