A Zai Rice Cake Shop was founded by the ancestor Dai Jiu Gong in a traditional fabric store next to Dajia Jenn Lann Temple during the Japanese colonial period. In the 27th year of the Republic, the second generation, Yan Zai, took over the business and later relocated to its current site on Chiang Kai-shek Road. With a focus on quality ingredients and time-consuming handmade processes, it creates nostalgic traditional flavors that bring back memories.
