Yu Jen Hsin's pastries do not have any exclusive secret recipes; instead, they embody a heart that cares for customers and a commitment to quality ingredients. To meet the needs of believers and locals who practice vegetarianism when visiting the Dajia Mazu Temple, Yu Jen Hsin replaced the traditional lard with a recipe using natural butter, which not only led to the creation of the now-famous "butter pastry" but also earned Yu Jen Hsin the title of the hometown of butter pastries.
