For half a century, from a novice to a renowned pastry expert in Taiwan, we have always held on to our original intention: "to make those who care for us feel honored." Yu-Chen Hsin's pastries don’t have any exclusive secret recipes; instead, they are made with a heart that cares for customers and a commitment to quality ingredients. To meet the needs of worshippers and locals who prefer vegetarian offerings at the Dajia Mazu Temple, Yu-Chen Hsin switched to a recipe using natural butter instead of traditional lard pastry. This not only led to the creation of the now-famous "butter pastry," but also earned Yu-Chen Hsin the title of the hometown of butter pastries.
