Zhenlan Temple promotes Mazu culture, encourages folk arts and crafts activities, develops local cultural atmosphere, enhances local cultural standards, and utilizes land at Zhenlan Temple and Pingpankou section to construct the Zhenlan Cultural Building.

Zhenlan Cultural Building Introduction

The purpose of the Zhenlan Temple is to promote Mazu culture, encourage folk art activities, develop local cultural arts, and enhance the cultural level of the community. It utilizes the land of Zhenlan Temple and the Pingan Wharf section to construct the Zhenlan Cultural Building, with a groundbreaking ceremony held on December 29, 1990 (the 13th day of the 11th lunar month). Design Concept: The building is designed with six floors, modeled after the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. It includes small and medium-sized conference rooms, a Mazu Museum, a library, and cultural artifacts from the old temple's Wuchao Gate. Floor Introduction: B1: Huazheng Plaza is designated for the display of stone carvings, wood carvings, sculptures, Chinese paintings, calligraphy, ink wash, handicrafts, bonsai, various large-scale artworks, and folk cultural artifacts. 1F & 2F: The performance hall has 786 seats, available for organizations, Buddhist groups, childcare centers, kindergartens, graduation ceremonies, briefings, talent contests, various performances, speeches, awards ceremonies, Buddhist lectures, and large concerts. 4F: The conference hall is available for organizations to hold briefings and seminars.
