Zhenlan Cultural Building Introduction
The purpose of the Zhenlan Temple is to promote Mazu culture, advance folk arts activities, develop the local arts atmosphere, and elevate the local cultural standards. The Zhenlan Cultural Building was constructed on the land of Zhenlan Temple and the Ping'an Wharf area, and the groundbreaking ceremony was held on December 29, 1990 (the thirteenth day of the eleventh lunar month). Design Concept: The building is designed with six floors, resembling the exterior of the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. It includes medium and small-sized meeting rooms, a Mazu Cultural Museum, a library, the Five Dynasties Gate of the old temple, and various relics. Floor Introduction: B1: Huanya Plaza, dedicated to the exhibition of stone carvings, wood carvings, sculptures, traditional Chinese paintings, calligraphy, ink wash, handicrafts, bonsai, various large-scale art, and folk relics. 1F & 2F: The performance hall has 786 seats and is designated for various organizations, Buddhist groups, childcare centers, kindergartens, graduation ceremonies, presentations, talent competitions, various performances, lectures, award ceremonies, recognition events, Buddhist teachings, and large concerts. 4F: The conference room is available for various organizations and groups to hold briefings and symposiums.
