Shiqiang Tuniu Hakka Cultural Center was rebuilt from the old Liu's house in Tuniu Village, which has distinctive Dapu Hakka characteristics. The old Liu's house serves as an important symbol in the history of Hakka development in the mountainous town. It was completely destroyed in the 921 Earthquake, and after six years of efforts by the Liu family and local working teams, it was finally restored to its original appearance as the Tuniu Hakka Cultural Center.

The purpose of the establishment of the Tuyan Hakka Cultural Center is primarily to promote the inheritance of Hakka living culture. The park is also an area for the daily life of the descendants of the Liu family, as well as a place for conducting ritual ceremonies and life customs. In addition to static exhibits, visitors can also participate in authentic Hakka life rituals, experiencing the vibrant and lively Hakka culture.
