Chahau Bicycle Path Introduction
The Jiahou Daoxiang Bicycle Path is 21 kilometers long, connecting to the Houfeng Greenway, the Jiahou Line Bicycle Path - Worry-Free Valley Branch, and the Coastal Bicycle Path. With the changing seasonal scenery of Worry-Free Valley in Waipu, the bicycle path is adorned with colorful paintings of local crops, including rice, rapeseed flowers planted during fallow periods, daisies, sunflowers, and cosmos flowers, allowing visitors to appreciate local characteristics. Additionally, a designed pavilion is set up at the endpoint of the dedicated path for rest and scenic views, making it a perfect photo spot reminiscent of magazine covers, enhancing the attraction's appeal. The Liufen Road Branch is approximately 5.63 kilometers long, passing through Waipu District, connecting to the Yuemei West Road Bicycle Path, and looping back to Jiahou Road main line, forming a circular network. This area is a major wine grape production region in Taichung, with numerous wineries along the route where visitors can indulge in romantic dining experiences under the grapevines and taste the seasonal produced wines. During the Tung Flower season in May, cyclists can leisurely travel to admire the beautiful scenery and explore the Tung Flower Trail. The Worry-Free Valley Branch is about 12.6 kilometers long, including a 2-kilometer top dike bicycle path. Along the way, it shares the route with the railway, offering views of streambeds, the beauty of Worry-Free Valley, and more. The endpoint connects to the Yuemei Tourist Sugar Factory, and the entire route features agricultural and natural landscapes. The broad view from the top of the Ciyin Dike offers an unobstructed glance at the rural valley scenery. The magnificent flower sea and the crimson sunset are the two major attractions of Worry-Free Valley, making it very suitable for cycling.
