Taiwan Sugar Corporation Ice Products Introduction
Ren De Sugar Factory, established in the second year before the Republic of China, is located near Bao'an Station. It was formerly known as Cheluqian Sugar Factory and belonged to the Taiwan Sugar Corporation during the Japanese colonial period. It is a beautiful old Japanese-style building. With a long history, Ren De Sugar Factory was one of the most productive and efficient sugar factories during the Japanese era. Although it does not have a prominent sign, it is definitely a well-known attraction among locals. When visiting, you must not miss the various popsicles, crispy ice cream, and red bean milk ice, where you can find both traditional flavors and new treats inside the factory.
