Taiwan Sugar Ice Factory Introduction

Established two years before the Republic of China, the Rende Sugar Factory is located near the Baohan Station and was formerly known as the Cheluqian Sugar Factory. It belonged to the Taiwan Sugar Company during the Japanese colonial era and features traditional Japanese architecture. The historically significant Rende Sugar Factory was one of the highest-producing and most efficient sugar factories during the Japanese rule. Although it lacks a prominent sign, it is definitely a well-known spot among locals. Visitors must not miss the various ice pops, crispy ice cream, and red bean milk ice, where you can find both classic flavors and new treats within the sugar factory.
