The Ren-De Sugar Factory, established in the second year of the Republic of China, is located near the Bao'an Station. It was formerly known as the Che-Lu-Chien Sugar Factory and belonged to the Taiwan Sugar Company during the Japanese occupation. This charming building features traditional Japanese architecture. With a long history, the Ren-De Sugar Factory was one of the highest producing and most efficient sugar factories during the Japanese colonial period.
