Monkey Explore Trail Introduction
This natural mountain trail connects Changhua Shetou and Nantou City and can be divided into northern and southern routes, with the endpoint at the Monkey Spring Recreation Area; the northern route ends at the Starry Moon Sky Landscape Restaurant. Currently, the connecting paths to these two endpoints have been closed, necessitating a return trip. The trail is approximately 2.1 kilometers long, with lush vegetation throughout, although trails are still visible. Near the Nantou side, there are steep stairs for climbing. The southern route is generally more humid, especially near the wild creek, causing some sections of the trail to have weeds taller than waist height. The northern route is relatively dry and easier to walk, but some stairs may be collapsed. Due to the need to return, few people hike here, making it suitable for those who enjoy outdoor exploration and mountain climbing. Trail length: 2.11 kilometers. Walking time: 1.5 hours. Facilities: Basic parking space.
