Monkey Scout Trail Introduction
"This natural mountain trail connects Changhua Shetou and Nantou City and can be divided into north and south lines, with the southern endpoint being the Hou Tan Jing Recreational Area and the northern endpoint being the Starry Moon Sky Viewing Restaurant. Currently, the connecting paths to both endpoints have been closed, so it is necessary to turn back. The trail is approximately 2.1 kilometers long, with dense vegetation along the entire length, although traces of the path are still visible. Near the Nantou end, there are steep stairs to climb. The southern line tends to be more humid, especially close to the wild streams, where some sections of weeds have grown taller than waist height; the northern line is relatively dry and easier to walk on, but some stairs have collapsed. Due to the need to turn back, few people hike here, making it suitable for those who enjoy outdoor exploration and hiking activities. Trail length: 2.11 kilometers. Walking time: 1.5 hours. Facilities: Simple parking space."
