Monkey Explore Well Nature Trail Introduction
This hiking trail connects the natural paths between Changhua Shetou and Nantou City, divided into northern and southern sections, with the southern endpoint at Monkey Exploration Well Recreation Area and the northern endpoint at Starry Moon Sky Restaurant. Currently, the connection pathways at both endpoints are closed, necessitating a return. The trail is approximately 2.1 km in length, and while the whole route is densely vegetated, traces of the path remain visible. The Nantou end features steep stairs, and the southern section is generally more humid, resulting in some areas where weeds grow taller than waist-high. The northern section is relatively dry and easier to navigate, but some stairs have collapsed. Due to the need to return, this area is seldom frequented by hikers, making it suitable for outdoor exploration and hiking enthusiasts. Trail length: 2.11 kilometers. Walking time: 1.5 hours. Facilities: Basic parking space.
