Monkey Exploring Well Nature Trail Introduction
"This natural trail connects Changhua's Shetou and Nantou City and can be divided into northern and southern routes, ending at the Hou Tan Jing Recreational Area; the northern route ends at the Starry Moon Sky Scenic Restaurant. Currently, the connecting pathways to both endpoints have been closed, requiring visitors to turn back. The trail is approximately 2.1 kilometers long, with lush vegetation making the path still visible, and steep stairs near the Nantou end. The southern route, being close to the wild stream, is generally more humid, resulting in some areas where weeds are higher than waist level. In contrast, the northern route is relatively dry and easier to traverse, although some stairs have collapsed. Due to the need to turn back, there are rarely any hikers here, making it suitable for outdoor exploration and mountain climbing enthusiasts. Trail length: 2.11 kilometers. Walking time: 1.5 hours.
