The temple is dedicated to the main deity Prince Nezha and the vice deity Sanfu Wangye. It was established in the last year of the Guangxu era (1883). The ancestors migrated from Meizhou in mainland China to build this temple, and it was renovated in September of the 55th year of the Republic of China (1966).
