Qitou Riverside Park Introduction
Qidou Water Park is located on Baisha Island. To reach Qidou Water Park, enter from the entrance near the large banyan tree in Gangzi Village, and you will arrive after passing the aquarium. The water park is designed to utilize the tidal differences and is rich in marine ecology. Inside, there are areas for tidal flat walk activities, a circular wading pool, and children's playground facilities, making it a multifunctional recreational area. The tidal flat ecology tour is a relatively new tourism activity that allows visitors to experience a different kind of seaside recreation by personally going into the sea to collect marine life, which serves as a great educational experience. Qidou Water Park, combined with the Penghu Aquarium, forms an ecological activity zone, with the tidal flats in front serving as an excellent classroom for ecological tourism learning. Qidou Village faces Yuanyang Islet across the sea, and on the eastern side, Qishan behind the community offers a broad view, showcasing one of the eight scenic views of Baisha, the "Qishan Sunrise." Next to the water park is Qidou Fishing Port, which serves as the transportation and recreational boat dock connecting Bird Islet and Yuanyang.
