Qingluo Beach Introduction
Qingluo Beach, located on the northern coast of Huxi Township in Penghu, is also one of the important ecological areas in Penghu. This beach, which stretches for hundreds of meters, is made up of coral sand with fine shell sand at the rear. It features coastal wetlands that attract flocks of migratory birds that stop over or stay, and it is also a breeding ground for conservation species like the Little Tern. It is one of the largest habitats and wintering grounds for birds in Penghu, home to over a hundred bird species and thousands of migratory birds each year, providing rich natural and cultural ecological resources. Qingluo Beach, with its coral reefs and basalt formations, is vast and sparsely populated, making it very quiet! Here, you can admire the beauty of Qingluo Beach and enjoy the cool sea water. To the west, there are wind turbines dotting the landscape, while to the northeast, the islands of the East China Sea can be seen. During sunset, the sea surface and the turbines create a picturesque scene. In front of Qingluo Beach, there is a wide intertidal zone where you can collect shells and enjoy the tide pools during low tide. The Qingluo coast belongs to a diverse wetland area, featuring reefs, gravel beds, beaches, and muddy coasts, as well as mangroves, tidal pools, sandbanks, and fish ponds, representing a microcosm of the various wetlands in Penghu. 【Recommended stay time】0.5 hours
