Qingluo Beach Introduction
Qingluo Beach, located on the northern coast of Huxi Township in Penghu, is one of the important ecological areas in Penghu. This beach, stretching several hundred meters, is made up of coral fragments, with fine shell sand at the back. It features coastal wetlands that attract large numbers of migratory birds, as well as the endangered Little Tern that breeds here, making it one of the largest wintering and nesting grounds for birds in Penghu. Every year, there are over a hundred bird species and thousands of migratory birds that winter or pass through, showcasing rich natural and cultural ecological resources. Qingluo Beach, with its coral reefs and basalt rock formations, is vast and rarely inhabited, making it very quiet! Enjoying the beauty of Qingluo Beach while stepping into the cool sea water, to the west, you can see the windmills at Zhongtun, and to the northeast, the islands of the East China Sea. During sunset, the reflection of the sea and the windmills creates a more picturesque scene. In front of Qingluo Beach, there is an extensive intertidal zone where you can collect shells at low tide and appreciate the tidal ecosystem. Qingluo Coast belongs to a diverse wetland ecosystem that includes reefs, gravel, sandy beaches, and muddy coasts, as well as mangroves, tidal pools, sandbars, and fish ponds, representing a miniature landscape of various wetlands in Penghu. 【Recommended stay time】 0.5 hours
