KANO Visitor Center Introduction
The KANO Visitor Center is located at the entrance of the KANO Park. The architectural design, characterized by simple and sleek lines that embody the imagery of Chiayi City’s wooden capital, resembles a butterfly in flight. The visitor center connects to popular attractions such as the Centennial Chiayi Park, the Arboretum, the Municipal Baseball Stadium, the grass skiing area, and the slide. It is situated at a convenient low-carbon public transport hub with access to BRT, city buses, and YOUBIKE 2.0. The KANO Visitor Center not only provides professional travel consultation but also integrates "food, accommodation, entertainment, shopping, and transportation" as a showcase for the delights of Chiayi City, including great food, activities, shopping, and more. Additional amenities include restrooms, a nursing room, a mobile device charging area, a free internet zone, electronic lockers, and wheelchair rental services, complemented by the assistance of volunteer guides. Recommended nearby attractions include the KANO Park, the Centennial Chiayi Park, the Historic Site Museum (Showa J18), the Arboretum, the Municipal Baseball Stadium, the grass skiing area, and large slides. KANO Visitor Center operating hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM daily. J-Mori (Chiayi Forest) operates from 10 AM to 6 PM, with extended hours until 8 PM on holidays, and the business hours are subject to adjustment based on public feedback.
