Guting Riverside Park Introduction
Guting Riverside Park is located between Yongfu Bridge and Zhongzheng Bridge, covering an area of approximately 27.3 hectares with expansive green spaces. You can access the park by biking from Siyuan Street towards the Water Museum. A cleverly designed sloped area features shrubs arranged to spell out "Guting Riverside Park." On a summer afternoon, it's a great place to escape the heat and enjoy the breeze, as the park is equipped with a full range of sports facilities, including tennis courts, basketball courts, and a skating rink. Those who love to play ball here know that there are two adjacent tennis courts with shared shade, making it perfect for competitions without exposure to the hot sun. Beneath Yongfu Bridge, there is a rock climbing practice area and children's playground, with thick protective mats laid beneath the slides, showcasing the city's thoughtful design. The climbing wall is about three meters high, suitable for children to climb and build their strength. Bringing your kids here for some summer fun and games is a great choice. The bike paths in the park are well-lit and planned, especially popular for night rides during summer evenings. In the winter and spring, Guting Riverside Park blooms with vast and beautiful flower fields, resembling a dreamlike floral carpet laid across the park. It also features many art installations themed around "love" for visitors to take beautiful photos. In 2022, the park added a "Guting Dog Activity Area" occupying 703 square meters, equipped with safety fencing and double-gated entrances to enhance security, along with various basic facilities, making it ideal for everyone to enjoy with their furry friends.
