Guting Riverside Park Introduction
Guting Riverside Park is located between Yongfu Bridge and Chungcheng Bridge, covering an area of approximately 27.3 hectares with expansive green spaces. You can enter the park by riding your bike from Siyuan Street towards the Waterworks Museum. Thoughtfully designed, a slope planted with shrubs spells out "Guting Riverside Park." On a summer afternoon, you can escape the scorching sun and enjoy the breeze here; the park is equipped with various sports facilities, including tennis courts, basketball courts, and a skating rink. Tennis enthusiasts know that there are two adjacent tennis courts sharing the shade, making it ideal for matches without being exposed to the sun. Beneath Yongfu Bridge, there are climbing practice areas and children's play equipment, with thick protective mats under the slides, showcasing the city's thoughtful design. The climbing wall is about three meters high, suitable for children to climb and build their strength. Bringing your children here to escape the summer heat and play is a great option. The park's bike path is well-lit and planned, especially during summer nights, making it a popular spot for night cycling. In winter and spring, Guting Riverside Park boasts large areas of stunning flower fields, resembling a dreamlike floral carpet laid across the park, along with several art installations themed around "love" for visitors to take beautiful pictures. In 2022, a "Guting Dog Activity Area" was added to Guting Riverside Park, covering an area of 703 square meters, with facilities including a safety fence and dual entrance gates for enhanced security, as well as various basic amenities, making it a perfect spot for everyone to bring their furry friends to enjoy and play.
