Yang Yingfeng Museum of Art Introduction
The Yang Yingfeng Art Museum is located in the culturally rich Nanhai Academy in Taipei City, near major cultural institutions such as the National Museum of History, the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute, and the Botanical Garden, where a strong atmosphere of art and academia converges. The museum holds several annual retrospectives of Yang Yingfeng's work and an artist exchange exhibition, along with periodic international and national-level cooperative exhibitions. It also organizes humanities and arts lectures, cultural activities, and workshops for young artists to promote engagement with the arts. Art application adds value; everything begins with sharing to realize the integration of art into life and life into art, making art closer to daily life and more meaningful. “Use” is the most direct way to experience art; through the original and human-centered design of artists, practical and aesthetically pleasing everyday items and gifts are developed, allowing people to fully feel the aesthetic applications in their daily lives. The cultural space is a multifunctional venue that combines humanity, life, aesthetics, creativity, and rental services. Here, you can read, take a break, enjoy coffee, listen to life experiences, or share knowledge in lectures. The spirit and content of humanities and arts are always our goal, enthusiastically inviting friends and book clubs to gather, promoting the exchange and development of culture and art. The third floor features three annual exhibitions dedicated to Yang Yingfeng, while the basement houses the Yang Yingfeng Story Hall with a permanent exhibition. This area, inspired by the imagery of historical trails, displays materials and historical records of Yang Yingfeng's artistic journey, allowing the public to experience the atmosphere of time and space restoration and understand Yang Yingfeng's life overview. Additionally, there are periodic national and international cooperative exhibitions and relevant humanities and arts lectures, cultural activities, and workshops for young artists.
