Yang Yingfeng Art Museum Introduction
The Yang Yingfeng Museum is located in the culturally rich Nan Hai Academy in Taipei City, adjacent to important cultural institutions such as the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, the National Taipei University of Education, and the Botanical Garden, creating a strong atmosphere of art and scholarship. The museum hosts several Yang Yingfeng retrospective exhibitions each year along with an artist exchange thematic exhibition, and it occasionally features collaborative exhibitions with national-level institutions from both domestic and international realms. The museum also organizes lectures on humanities and arts, cultural events, and workshops for young artists as part of its outreach initiatives. To cultivate an appreciation for art in daily life, the museum emphasizes the idea that art should enhance living and living should integrate art. This involves creating practical and aesthetically pleasing products and gifts through the artist's original and thoughtful designs, allowing people to experience the application of aesthetics in daily life. The multi-functional art space combines humanities, lifestyle, aesthetics, creativity, and rental services. Here, visitors can read, take a break, enjoy coffee, listen to life experiences, or participate in knowledge-sharing lectures. The spirit and content of humanities and arts have always been our mission, inviting friends, book clubs, and other groups to come together to promote cultural and artistic exchange and development. The third floor hosts three Yang Yingfeng thematic exhibitions annually, while the underground level features a permanent exhibition at the Yang Yingfeng Story Museum. This exhibition area uses the imagery of historical pathways to showcase creation materials and historical records of Yang Yingfeng, allowing the public to experience a time-space restoration atmosphere and to understand the overview of Yang Yingfeng's life. Additionally, the museum regularly hosts national-level collaborative invitations for exhibitions and related lectures and events in the humanities and arts, as well as workshops for young artists.
