Yang Yingfeng Museum of Fine Arts Introduction
The Yang Yingfeng Museum is located in the culturally rich Nanhai Academy in Taipei City, close to major cultural institutions such as the National Museum of History, the National Center for Traditional Arts, and the Botanical Garden, creating a vibrant atmosphere of art and academia. The museum hosts several exhibitions each year, including retrospective shows of Yang Yingfeng's work and themed exhibitions for artist exchanges, as well as irregular collaborative exhibitions with national-level institutions from both domestic and international locations. It also organizes lectures on humanities and arts, cultural activities, and workshops for young artists to promote art in everyday life. Art application adds value, starting from sharing. To implement the idea of art integration into life and to make life more meaningful, "use" is the most direct way to experience art. Through the original and human-centered designs by artists, practical and aesthetically pleasing daily necessities and gifts are developed, allowing people to fully appreciate the ingenuity of aesthetics in their lives. The cultural and artistic space is a multifunctional venue that combines humanities, life, aesthetics, creativity, and rental services. Here, you can read, relax, enjoy coffee, listen to life experiences, or participate in knowledge-sharing lectures on arts and culture. The spirit and content of humanities and arts have always been our goals, enthusiastically inviting groups of friends or book clubs to gather, contributing to the exchange and development of cultural and artistic endeavors. The third floor of the museum hosts three special exhibitions annually dedicated to Yang Yingfeng, while the underground floor features a permanent exhibition called the Yang Yingfeng Story House. This exhibition area presents historical materials and records about Yang Yingfeng's creative history, allowing visitors to experience the atmosphere of time and space restoration and gain an understanding of his life overview. Additionally, it offers irregular collaborative exhibitions with national-level institutions from both domestic and international locations and organizes related lectures on humanities and arts, cultural activities, and workshops for young artists, among others.
