Xinshe Mazu, the deity of Xiluo Xingtian Temple, commonly known as Xinshe Mazu, has its incense offerings originating from Beigang Chaotian Temple. Additionally, the residents worship a Sanjiegong furnace (the Three Officials). The name Xinshe signifies that this area was once the traditional living domain of the Pingpu tribe known as the Xiluo tribe.
