Kalar Temple Introduction
Zhuangli Street's Guardian Deity Kalan Temple is dedicated to Kalan, an important temple in the Xiluo area. Kalan's divine status is similar to that of the City God, overseeing all yin-yang affairs within the Xiluo Fort. After the "Thanksgiving for Peace" ritual held at Kalan Temple on the 18th day of the 10th lunar month each year, various settlements can take turns to worship the deity.
