Shekou Fo Tian Temple Introduction
Shekou Mazu, also known as Shekou Ma, is the main deity of the Shekou Futiangong Temple, which has a history of over a hundred years as a pilgrimage route. Legend has it that this temple was built during the reign of Qianlong. At that time, a local merchant traveled to Punghu for trade and witnessed the miraculous powers of the Mother of Punghu, prompting him to request incense to be returned to his village for worship. As a result, Shekou devotees have historically traveled to the Peitian Temple in Punghu to pay their respects and offer incense.
