Shekou Futen Temple Introduction
Shekou Mazu, connecting a century-old pilgrimage route, is the main deity at Shekou Futen Temple. Commonly referred to as Shekou Mazu, it is said that this temple was established during the Qianlong period. Local merchants who traveled to Puzi for trade witnessed the divine presence of the Sacred Mother of Puzi and prayed for incense to bring back to their village for worship. Therefore, Shekou devotees have historically gone to Puzi Peitian Temple to pay homage and offer incense.
