Shekou Fuheng Temple Introduction
Shekou Mazu connects a century-old pilgrimage route. Shekou Futen Temple, which enshrines Mazu, is commonly known as Shekou Mazu. It is said that this temple was built during the Qianlong period. At that time, local merchants went to Puzi for trade and witnessed the divine manifestations of the Mother of Puzi, therefore they requested incense to be brought back to the village for worship. As a result, the believers from Shekou have historically gone to the Peitian Temple in Puzi to pay homage and burn incense.
