The clear water and good environment made Gongliao’s gorgon fruit fresh and delicious. However, in the 1990s, the industry was severely impacted by bacterial infections. In recent years, the second generation of aquaculture has returned to Gongliao, implementing semi-open breeding environments that utilize natural tidal changes to continuously refresh the water in tidal pools connected to seawater, revitalizing the "Gorgon Kingdom." Located in the picturesque Gongliao, the Fresh Goods Shop is a leader in gorgon fruit farming, combining professional experiences that allow visitors to personally experience feeding gorgon fruit in the tidal pools and enjoy on-site grilling, indulging in fresh seafood from the source and enhancing the reputation of "New Taipei Gongliao Abalone."
