Fresh Goods Store Introduction
In the 1960s, the coastal area of Gongliao, located near the Pacific Ocean, became the main base for the razor clam farming industry in Taiwan. The clear water quality and favorable environment allowed Gongliao's razor clams to be fresh and delicious. However, in the 1990s, the industry was severely impacted by bacterial infections. In recent years, the second generation of fish farming has returned to Gongliao, adopting a semi-open breeding environment. Utilizing the natural tide, the tidal pools continuously exchange water with the sea, restoring the glory of the "Razor Clam Kingdom." Located in the beautiful Gongliao area, the Fresh Goods Shop is a leader in razor clam cultivation, offering hands-on experiences for travelers to personally feed the razor clams while standing in the tidal pools. Visitors can also enjoy fresh seafood cooked on-site, enhancing the reputation of "New Taipei Gongliao Abalone."
