Bishan Introduction
Mount Bi is the highest peak in the Matsu region, standing at an elevation of 298 meters, and offers a panoramic view of Beigan Island. Visitors can enjoy the scenery from the observation deck on Mount Bi, which provides a complete outlook of the entire island. Those who love hiking can take the eastern trail from Tangqi Village or utilize the shorter paths connecting Shangcun and Qianbi, both of which lead to the observation deck without many challenging slopes, taking about 30 minutes to reach the top. Standing at the observation deck, on a clear day, the view is spectacular, capturing sights of Beigan Airport, Tangqi Village, and even the distant uninhabited islands of Daqiu and Xiaoqiu. This breathtaking scenery not only makes it a must-visit spot for photographers but also serves as an ideal location for capturing aircraft taking off and landing at Beigan Airport. Note: The winds on Mount Bi can be strong, so motorcyclists should exercise caution. Additionally, some areas are still military zones, so please refrain from photographing military sites to avoid disputes.
