At first, the owner’s wife sold vegetables in the market, while the owner worked as a taxi driver. Later, due to a decrease in the number of soldiers on the island and the completion of the Matsu Airport, they transitioned to the food and beverage industry and have been operating for six years. Beigan Tang specializes in seafood dishes with flavors from eastern Fujian, as well as Matsu-style cuisine. The red yeast rice used in the restaurant is personally brewed by the owner’s wife, offering a unique flavor that you should come and taste for yourself.
