Beigan Tang Seafood Restaurant Introduction
Initially, the owner’s wife sold vegetables at the market while the owner worked as a taxi driver. Later, due to the decreasing number of soldiers on the island and the completion of Matsu Airport, they transformed their business into a restaurant, which has been operating for six years now. Beigan Tang specializes in seafood dishes with a Minnan flavor, as well as Matsu's local dishes. The red yeast rice used in the restaurant is brewed by the owner’s wife herself, giving it a unique flavor that is definitely worth a personal tasting. They accept walk-in customers, groups, and banquet dining, but since the chef is solely the owner’s wife, it is recommended that diners make a reservation by phone in advance.
