Turtle Island Introduction
In the central part of Aokou, north of Qinbi Village, there is a prominent granite reef that resembles a giant sea turtle lying on the water's surface due to its unique geological formations. As a result, the locals refer to it as "Turtle Island." Surrounding Turtle Island, the water is crystal clear and mirror-like, which has contributed to the prosperity of Qinbi Village, known as "Mirror Bay." It is said that this location has excellent feng shui, and local residents believe that many folklore and beliefs originated from Turtle Island. Therefore, it is regarded as one of the treasures of the village, and every year in April and May, it becomes one of the best spots to view "blue tears." Legend of the Black Stone Tablet: If you have a telescope or camera with you, don't forget to use a telephoto lens to get a closer look. You will find a black stone tablet on the island inscribed with "Plant Banyans to Gather Wealth."
