In the central area of Aokou, north of Qinbi Village, there is a protruding granite reef that, due to its unique geological features, looks like a large turtle resting on the water's surface. The locals thus refer to it as "Turtle Island." Surrounding Turtle Island, the water is crystal clear and reflective, leading to Qinbi Village being known as "Mirror Harbor." It is said that the village thrived here because of excellent feng shui, and many local legends and beliefs stem from Turtle Island, which the residents regard as one of the treasures of the village. Every year, during April and May, it is also one of the best places to view the "blue tears." Legend of the Black Stone Tablet If you have binoculars or a camera, don't forget to use a zoom lens to get a closer look. You will find a black stone tablet on the island, inscribed with "Plant Banyan, Gather Wealth." According to legend, around 1994, the residents erected the stone tablet as instructed by the deity in the Tianhou Temple, setting up one tablet reading "Plant Banyan, Gather Wealth" and another listing the names of donors. Over the past 20 years, Qinbi Village has gradually become a popular tourist destination in Matsu, attracting more and more visitors.

Surrounding Turtle Island, the water is crystal clear and mirror-like, which has contributed to the prosperity of Qinbi Village, known as "Mirror Bay." It is said that this location has excellent feng shui, and local residents believe that many folklore and beliefs originated from Turtle Island. Therefore, it is regarded as one of the treasures of the village, and every year in April and May, it becomes one of the best spots to view "blue tears." Legend of the Black Stone Tablet: If you have a telescope or camera with you, don't forget to use a telephoto lens to get a closer look. You will find a black stone tablet on the island inscribed with "Plant Banyans to Gather Wealth." It is said that around 1994, under the guidance of the Iron Arm General from the Mazu Temple, locals established a stone tablet inscribed with "Plant Banyans to Gather Wealth" and another for the "Donor’s Honor Roll." Over the course of more than 20 years, Qinbi Village has gradually become a popular tourist destination in Matsu, drawing an increasing number of visitors to its unique folk settlement.
