Sandimen Bicycle Path Introduction
The Sandimen Township Cycling Path is located on Ping 185 Line in Sandimen Township. It is the earliest mountain cycling path developed in Pingtung County. The path runs through the northernmost township of Pingtung County, Gaoshu Township, and Sandimen Township, with a total length of about 42 kilometers, making it a circular cycling trail. The route covers Hakka settlements and Indigenous tribes' cultures, as well as the rustic rural landscape, rich natural ecology, and cultural attractions, making it a great choice for cycling tourism in Pingtung. The route connects Saijia, Koushe, Qingshan, and Ma'er Village, featuring charming scenery and showcasing Indigenous communities, winding mountain roads, and is one of the favorites among cyclists. It is recommended that the riding time depends on personal speed and habits, and cyclists should wear helmets, take sun protection measures, and bring enough water. Some sections have slight uphill slopes, so it is advisable to develop the habit of braking with both hands simultaneously during riding and pay attention to personal safety.
