Lover's Valley Introduction
Maolin Lover's Valley is located on the southern side of Maolin District, along a tributary of the Zhuokou Stream. In the Rukai language, it is called "Tupalulu." The area is famous for its natural landscapes including canyons, hot springs (currently closed), and streams, showcasing the beauty of clear streams and waterfalls. The Lover's Valley Suspension Bridge spans the stream, with several flat campsites underneath, making it ideal for camping and fishing. Lover's Valley is situated downstream of the Zhuokou Stream, where the longest suspension bridge in the scenic area, the Xingnong Suspension Bridge, crosses over it. The stream meanders pleasantly through a serene environment; the Lover's Valley waterfall group consists of five waterfalls, with a stairway on the left side of the first waterfall leading up to the second level in about 10 minutes. Continuing along the stream, the forest gradually becomes more primitive, with increasing humidity and cool, comfortable air. The ribbon-like waterfalls hidden in the secluded valley will amaze you, surrounded by lush forests and steep mountains, presenting a breathtaking sight. (Currently, the road is closed.)
