Lover's Valley Introduction
Maolin Lover's Valley is located on the southern side of the Zhubao Creek tributary in the Maolin District. In the Rukai language, it is called "Tuhbalu." It is famous for its natural scenery, including canyons, hot springs (currently out of service), and streams, making it a valley that combines the beauty of clear streams and waterfalls. The Lover's Valley Suspension Bridge spans the stream, with multiple flat camping grounds available beneath the bridge, making it suitable for camping and fishing. Lover's Valley is located downstream of the Zhubao Creek, where the longest suspension bridge in the scenic area, the Xingnong Suspension Bridge, spans above it. The winding stream is tranquil and pleasant; the waterfall group in Lover's Valley consists of five waterfalls. From the left side of the waterfall, a stepped path leads up to the second-tier waterfall in about 10 minutes. If you continue upstream along the creek, the forest gradually becomes more primordial, with increasing humidity and cool, comfortable air. The ribbon-like waterfalls hidden in the secluded valley will amaze you, and the area is lush with trees and towering mountains, presenting stunning beauty. (Currently, the road is closed.)
