Maolin Valley / Luosixi Trail Introduction

Maolin Valley Waterfall is located at the end of the Lumusu Creek Trail in Maolin District. The entrance to the Lumusu Creek Trail is about 0.8 kilometers after turning right at the Lumusu Bridge along the Lumusu External Road, following the signs. "Lumusu" in the Rukai language means "beautiful valley" and is a tributary of the Zhuokou River. The trail winds with the terrain, allowing visitors to enjoy the canyon landscape, lush green mountains, and butterflies fluttering all around, accompanied by the soothing sound of flowing water, providing a refreshing experience. The total length of the trail is 4 kilometers, but currently, only 1.2 kilometers is open. After passing through a series of bamboo tunnels, you will reach the Maolin Valley Waterfall, which is majestic and impressive. Witnessing such beautiful scenery is worth forgetting your worries. It is recommended to stay for about 1.5 hours, and please be cautious of mosquitoes and insects along the way.
