Longtou Mountain Recreation Area Introduction
Longtou Mountain Recreation Area is located at kilometer 12 of County Road 132 in Maolin District. The area includes attractions such as Eagle Valley, Longtou Mountain's ring-shaped hills, Dunai Bridge, Longtou Mountain Little Great Wall Trail, Dunai Suspension Bridge, and Snake Head Mountain. The Little Great Wall Trail of Longtou Mountain is laid along the ridge line, with a gentle and easy path suitable for the general public. The midsection offers a broad view, capturing distant mountain landscapes. Continuing down, visitors can reach the Dunai Suspension Bridge, which is 232 meters long and was an important transportation route for the Dunai tribe in earlier times. The bridge features vibrant and unique indigenous totem paintings, making it a popular spot for leisure walks during weekends. A 30-minute walk will allow you to complete the Longtou Mountain Trail, and with an additional half an hour, you can also reach the Dunai Suspension Bridge to enjoy the beautiful valley views.
