Kaying Indigenous Workshop Introduction
Teacher Kai Ying has learned traditional weaving and embroidery from the elders of her tribe since childhood, accumulating excellent skills over time. She is dedicated to the inheritance and promotion of tribal culture. With great effort, she deepens the cultural foundations of the tribe and enhances her own aesthetic cultivation, seizing every resource and opportunity available to her. In her studio, you can see a neatly arranged collection of design certification courses from both domestic and international sources on the walls. Behind the colorful indigenous clothing, there are also traces of rich indigenous cultural historical materials and portfolios in her bookshelves. The small Kai Ying Indigenous Cultural Studio has slowly accumulated energy and strength under Teacher Kai Ying’s persistence. Today, it focuses on cross-stitch, traditional indigenous clothing, improved tribal custom-made clothing and accessories, and various indigenous cultural art works, weaving the cultural symbols of the Amis people into every stitch, passing them down bit by bit.
