Kaying Indigenous Workshop Introduction

Teacher Kaiying has been learning traditional weaving and embroidery from the elders of her tribe since childhood, gradually honing her skills. She is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of tribal culture, relentlessly deepening her understanding of her community's cultural heritage and enhancing her aesthetic sensibility. She seizes every resource and opportunity for continuous learning. On the walls of her studio, one can see a neatly arranged collection of design certification courses from both domestic and international institutions. Behind the colorful indigenous garments, there is also a bookshelf rich in materials and collections related to indigenous cultural history. The small Kaiying Indigenous Cultural Studio, under Teacher Kaiying's persistent efforts, has slowly accumulated energy and strength. It now focuses on various indigenous cultural art works such as cross-stitch, traditional indigenous clothing, and customized tribal garments and accessories, weaving the cultural symbols of the Amis people through needle and thread, passing them on bit by bit.
