Tseng Chi Mochi Co., Ltd. Introduction
The signboard of Zeng Ji, the first GSP standard shop for rice cake in the country, was created through the entrepreneurial journey of founder Dong Chunliang and his wife Zeng Huijuan, who started from a mobile stall step by step. In the early days of operating the store, Dong Chunliang required employees to wear masks, work hats, and gloves to maintain food hygiene. However, employees opposed this on the grounds that it was too hot. He then led by example and insisted that all employees wear them, which resulted in today's Zeng Ji feature: employees dressed in white clothing, white hats, and white masks openly making rice cakes in the store, allowing consumers to feel more assured about food hygiene. This is also the first innovative practice among rice cake businesses in the country. Insisting on not using preservatives in making rice cakes, although it did not make Dong Chunliang wealthy, it allowed him to provide for his family. Dong Chunliang admits that this business philosophy is relatively conservative. However, now, with the strict adherence to no preservatives, through repeated efforts to develop technology, the freshness of Zeng Ji's handmade rice cakes has been extended from 1 day to 2 days.
