Naruwan Hotel Hualien Introduction

A theme leisure hotel that showcases the unique cultural characteristics of indigenous people in a fashionable style, providing guests with a space rich in cultural depth. Each floor has nine rooms representing nine different ethnic groups, with the design of nine types of suites based on the characteristics, culture, and specialties of each group. This concept transforms many symbols of the indigenous peoples into spatial elements, searching for the simplest arrangement of elements within a varied space, innovating from tradition. The interior features a variety of indigenous artworks, including wood carvings, stone sculptures, embroidery, and paintings. Many of these works are by Mr. Li Guangxiong, father of music master Li Taixiang, who was also the mentor of Mr. Yuan Zhikuan, the creator of various indigenous sculptures at the Hualien Astoria Hotel. Mr. Li Guangxiong was a master during the 1950s and 60s, and the wood carvings at the hotel reception and in each room are full of his works, which guide one through the simple and rustic lifestyle of the indigenous peoples, including hunting and farming. The unique style of the indigenous peoples allows you, from the moment you step into the Nalu Bay Hotel in Hualien, to feel as though you have entered a legendary myth... In addition to our sincere and thoughtful service during your leisure, you can also experience the genuine warmth of the indigenous peoples.
