The brown sugar cake is a food left behind by the Japanese, originally intended for temple fairs and offerings to deities, and it has now become one of Penghu's specialties. It is said that the reason why Chunren's brown sugar cake tastes particularly good is due to the special water quality used in the making process, which makes their brown sugar cake more flavorful than others.
