The owner insists on making it fresh daily, and the cake has a particularly chewy sweetness without adding preservatives, resulting in a shorter shelf life. Brown sugar cake is a food left behind by the Japanese, originally intended for temple fairs and rituals, and has now become one of the specialties of Penghu. It is said that the reason the Chunjin brown sugar cake is particularly delicious is due to the exceptional quality of the water used in the cake-making process, making their brown sugar cake more aromatic than others.
