Technology Hall Introduction
The Science and Technology Living Center serves as a transit station for commuting within the park, connecting the public transportation systems from north to south. For anyone looking to understand everything about the Science Park, it should begin with the Living Center. Inside the Living Center, on the 4th floor, are the six major industry exhibition halls, which are a microcosm of the industries in the Science Park. The exhibition halls showcase the history and development of the Science Park, as well as the six major high-tech industries that have helped Hsinchu develop into Taiwan's Silicon Valley, including integrated circuits, computers and peripherals, communications, optoelectronics, precision machinery, and biotechnology. Visitors can experience all of this at the Science and Technology Living Center. The exhibition halls are generally not open to the public, but tourists can make reservations in advance for visits, so interested individuals are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
