Chihuan Coffee Introduction
The 2022 Taiwan Cup Tasting Champion, "Qi Huan Coffee," has just moved from Bao'an Market to Minquan Road in Chiayi. This Japanese-style tea house features a new design and is situated right across from a park, offering a much more spacious environment compared to its previous location. On opening day, a continuous stream of guests celebrated, and a large red banner was displayed on the wall saying: "Congratulations! Lin Chen-Chia won the championship of the 2022 WCE Coffee Tasting World Cup Taiwan Selection." The entire café was filled with festive cheer! The cup tasting champion, Lin Chen-Chia, is the owner of Qi Huan Coffee, also known as "Aqi." He has loved coffee since high school and fully immersed himself in the professional coffee field. In 2018, he founded Qi Huan Coffee, one of the few specialty coffee shops in Chiayi that simultaneously offers hand-brewed, espresso, Aeropress, cold brew, and nitro coffee. Watching Aqi make coffee at the bar is an enjoyable experience. Aqi's roasting skills are also impressive, with the "Hidden Cinnamon Rolls of Chiayi Market" being a signature item, known for its generous quality and lovingly referred to by locals as "the man's cinnamon roll." Occasionally, there are hazelnut cocoa rolls, Tieguanyin tea rolls, sesame rolls, toast, dacquoise, tiramisu, pudding, and more. Everything is freshly made daily and available in limited quantities.
