Hua Qian Cong Introduction
Brunch Osteria, located at the corner of Zhongyi Street and Changrong Street, is both a brunch spot and an Italian restaurant that can be best described as a fusion cuisine establishment offering all-day brunch. The chef has worked in the Taipei food industry for eight years and has entered the Chiayi dining market with his creative dishes. The term "Osteria" indicates its Italian culinary roots. The name "Hua Qian Cong" is inspired by Japanese kimono color palettes and features popular dishes like the "Grilled Mentaiko Smoked Salmon Pasta," a Japanese-Italian fusion dish that is irresistibly delicious. Classic dishes are also reimagined here; the chef enhances the traditional Italian Carbonara by incorporating salted egg yolk for added flavor and balances the saltiness with pumpkin, while also thick-cutting the bacon for a more robust texture. The culinary creativity doesn't stop at Italian cuisine; by the suggestion of the owner, the Dutch oven waffle is presented in a Taiwanese flavor of "Taro Mud Salted Egg Yolk Meat Floss," which has become a hit!
