Hua Qian Cong Introduction

Brunch Osteria, a fusion cuisine restaurant located at the corner of Zhongyi Street and Changrong Street, serves as both a brunch spot and an Italian restaurant. The simplest way to define it is: this is an Italian restaurant that offers all-day brunch. The chef has worked in the Taipei dining industry for eight years and has entered the Chiayi food scene with Fusion Cuisine (borderless creative cooking). The term "Osteria" signifies its Italian culinary roots. However, the name "Hua Qian Cong" is inspired by the color palette of Japanese kimonos, and its menu features favorites like "Grilled Mentaiko Smoked Salmon Pasta," a satisfying Japanese-Italian dish. Classics can also be reinvented; the chef has taken the traditional Italian Carbonara and added a golden twist for enhanced flavor, balancing the savory taste with pumpkin, and opted for thick slices of bacon for a more substantial texture. The playful approach doesn't stop there; the Dutch oven waffles are presented with a Taiwanese twist of "Taro Mud Salted Egg Yolk Meat Floss" flavor, which has become extremely popular!
