Founded in 1953, Jiayi Xiang Wei has inherited local flavors for over half a century. It handcrafts nutritious and delicious products using carefully selected fresh ingredients, continuing the pastry-making skills learned by its founder from the Japanese during the colonial era. Starting from traditional yokan (sweet jelly), the offerings include steamed buns, snow flower cakes, sweet potatoes, and innovative cube pastries. Among them, the nostalgic Nanxin snow flower cake uses premium butter as filling, available in lemon and pineapple flavors, and is topped with a layer of powdered sugar, resembling snow, hence the name.
