Jia Xiang Wei, established in 1953, has been serving the flavors of Chiayi for half a century. With carefully selected fresh ingredients crafted by hand, we offer nutritious and delicious treats that inherit the pastry skills learned by our father during the Japanese colonial period. From the earliest yokan to steamed buns, snowflake cakes, sweet potatoes, and innovative square pastries, we have evolved our offerings. Among them, the nostalgic Nanxin snowflake cake features premium butter as the filling, available in lemon and pineapple flavors. Sprinkled with a layer of powdered sugar, it resembles snowflakes, thus its name. Soft and fluffy, it melts in your mouth and can even be frozen for a refreshing summer treat, reminiscent of an ice cream cake. This is a beloved taste of Chiayi that has accompanied us for 60 years.
