Upon encountering this old house for rent, the owner Angela promptly took over, expressing her desire to preserve the valuable old house for young people to appreciate. Initially, she was inexperienced in the food industry, exploring and learning for several years. It wasn't until 2020 that the Chiayi City Government commissioned a professional marketing team to assist local businesses, and "Old Time Fresh Matters" was rebranded as a "Japanese-style old house curry specialty." This solidified its current appearance and dining style. The restaurant offers self-developed curry set meals and provides the relatively rare soup curry in Chiayi. Angela's medical background has led her to incorporate sensory experiences encompassing sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell into her dishes, guiding everyone to enjoy the food while also exercising their brains.
