Bar Door to Dream Introduction
The cup is more expensive than the liquor. The Negroni at the wildcat bar in Chiayi is hailed as the most popular cocktail in the world, served in a BELLO glass from Kimura Glass Company. Under dim lighting, the drink glistens in a ruby hue, captivating patrons. The bartender notes that serving cocktails in exquisite glassware is a hallmark of Bar Door to Dream, easily recognized by connoisseurs. Open until 4 AM, it is currently the latest closing bar in Chiayi City, specializing in gin-based drinks. The menu changes every three months and also features spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, and custom cocktails, tailored to individual preferences of taste, texture, aroma, and carbonation. A unique option is to "order a drink based on your mood," leaving it up to the bartender for a delightful surprise. Bartender Xiao Hao, formerly a Chinese literature teacher, transitioned into mixology education and continues to teach. Behind the bar is a sign that reads “What should I do?”, which some say is the owner's catchphrase, but the owner also has an official explanation that can be shared when you visit for drinks.
