The crew on the ship respectfully calls him "Old" Captain. After leaving the ship to open a seafood restaurant, his unique culinary skills are equally respected. The specialty catches from Shen'ao Port, such as small squid and cuttlefish, are prepared excellently, attracting customers from Taipei who come specifically to enjoy the freshest catches from the Old Captain. The signature dishes of the Old Captain’s affordable seafood include various preparations of cuttlefish and small squid, with the freshest and simplest method being steaming - simple yet natural, and incredibly delicious. While many places have similar methods, the Old Captain offers a diverse range of rich flavors and textures.
