Lin's Ancestral Hall of Filial Piety Introduction
Built by the Lin family, Lin is the daughter of Lin Guanghui from Zhongzhuang Village in Daan District. Due to poverty, she was sent to the Yu family as a child bride shortly after her birth. When Lin turned twelve, her husband Yu Rongchang unfortunately drowned. Her father hoped she would return home and remarry. However, Lin Chun-niang couldn’t bear to abandon her mother-in-law. To provide for her mother-in-law, she worked tirelessly spinning yarn, weaving, and doing laundry, even though her income was meager. She remained diligent and selfless, often going without food and reserving the good dishes for her mother-in-law, living on rice porridge herself. Her filial piety was unwavering, earning her unanimous praise from the community. Guided tours: □ Yes ■ No □ Reservation required
