Lin's Filial Piety Archway Introduction
This is about the virtuous woman - Lin, built by Lin, the daughter of Lin Guanghui from Zhongzhuang Village, Daan District. Due to poverty, she was given to the Yu family as a child bride shortly after her birth. When Lin was twelve years old, her husband, Yu Rongchang, unfortunately drowned. Her father hoped she would return home and remarry. However, Lin Chunniang could not bear to abandon her mother-in-law, so to support her, she diligently spun thread, wove cloth, and did laundry for others. Although her income was meager, she worked hard and selflessly, often going hungry herself while saving the good food for her mother-in-law and subsisting on rice porridge.
