This archway consists of a four-pillar, three-bay, two-story granite structure, surrounded by a fence. The gateposts of the fence and the four sides of the archway pillars are engraved with many couplets, which is a rare feature compared to other archways. At the top eaves of the archway is inscribed "Imperial Edict," representing the highest honor.
