The "scone" originally referred to one of the engagement pastries from the Dajia area. After Yu Cheng Hsin Bakery replaced lard with natural butter and refined the recipe, the name "butter scone" became widely popular through word of mouth among worshippers. It is now known as one of the "Three Treasures of Dajia" along with "Dajia Mazu" and "Dajia Hat Mats." The "Dajia Three Treasures Cultural Museum" is located on the second floor of the Yu Cheng Hsin flagship store, where it regularly displays "nostalgic photographs of Dajia," "scenes of Dajia hat mat weaving," "scenes of traditional butter scone making," and sixteen wooden carvings depicting "the life story of Mazu." It also periodically hosts cultural and art exhibitions.
